PE days vary by class. The grade plan shows when students wear the approved PE uniform.

4K uniform plan

4K students wear uniforms on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday are casual-attire days.

Monthly Dress-Up Days: On the first Tuesday of each month, chapel, and formal school assemblies, 1st–8th grade boys wear the Classic Navy Blazer with long twill pants (no shorts); girls wear the official Solid Jumper or tailored A-Line Skort with a collared top.

4K physical education

4K students do not require a separate PE uniform. Students participate in physical movement in their daily uniform or casual attire with closed-toed sneakers.

Casual & non-uniform attire guidelines

Guidelines for 2K–3K everyday wear, 4K & 5K casual days (Tuesdays & Thursdays), and school-wide casual or spirit dress days:

Permitted & Encouraged

Approved casual wear

Clothing must be neat, clean, tasteful, and appropriate for active schoolwork and outdoor play.

  • Tops: Solid-color T-shirts, collared casual shirts, sweaters, and Timmerman spirit wear
  • Bottoms: Neat jeans (without rips/holes), khakis, casual pants, or modest-length shorts/skirts (finger-tip length)
  • Footwear: Closed-toed sneakers, athletic shoes, or casual shoes with socks (required for campus safety)
  • Colors & Patterns: Neutral, solid, striped, or simple tasteful patterns

Unacceptable casual wear

To preserve a focused, traditional learning environment, the following items are strictly prohibited:

  • No Character / Superhero Graphics: Commercial cartoon, movie, or superhero graphic tees (e.g., Spider-Man, Marvel, Disney characters)
  • No Distressed Clothing: Ripped, torn, or frayed jeans or pants
  • No Open Footwear: Flip-flops, sandals, slides, or Crocs (closed-toed shoes required for playground and stairs)
  • No Athletic Tops: Sleeveless tank tops, spaghetti straps, or undershirts worn as outerwear

Per the Timmerman Student Handbook, all casual attire should reflect neatness, modesty, and good taste. When in doubt, parents are encouraged to choose simple, solid-color clothing or check with the school office.
